Point System Scoring
Halter and Performance:
Open Shows:
5 - 4 - 3 - 2 -1 (Points only to five places)
Champion - 8 points
Reserve Champion - 5 points
AHA Shows:
10 - 8 - 6 - 4 - 2 (Points only to five places)
Champion - 15 points
Reserve Champion - 9 points
Regional, Nationals, and Pacific Slope Halter or Performance:
Champion - 25 points
Reserve Champion - 15 points
Top 3 to 10 - 10 points
Horizon Award:
Any first or second year Amateur showing their own horse can compete for this award.
Notify the high point chairperson at the beginning of the year. Points will count
in the class and age group division also.
